Steven Wallack

d. August 30, 2018

Steven Wallack, age 62, of Hudson passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his beloved family on Thursday, August 30 2018. Steve was born November 5t h 1955 to Walter Wallack and Mae (Mack) Wallack in St. Paul, MN. He married Kathy Breneman on October 18t h 1975 and they had two amazing daughters, Shannon and Christina.

Steve took great pride in being a mechanical engineer and could trouble- shoot anything … he used this skill while working for several top hotels in St. Paul. Steve and his family enjoyed camping trips, mostly in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Early years camping trips were based around fishing trips … most recent years, camping trips were typically associated with dog shows. His favorite trips were on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Steve was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, and boating. But riding his motorcycle was his passion. He enjoyed the freeing feeling while riding. He had so many great rides with Kathy on his Honda Goldwing and most recently his Can-Am Spyder. Steve and Kathy always looked forward to their winter cruise vacations.

His three grandchildren meant the world to him … they always brought a smile to his face and joy in his heart.

Steve will remain in the hearts of his devoted wife Kathy; daughters Shannon Wallack and Christina (Joseph) Olson; grandchildren Isabelle, Blaze, and superhero Hunter; and extended Breneman family and friends.

Steve fought cancer for 6 1⁄2 years with great courage and strength. When his journey on earth came to an end, a piece of our hearts went to heaven with him.

A Memorial Celebration of Life for Steve will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home; 520 So. 11t h Street in Hudson WI, with a gathering from 3:00 – 5:00pm prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
