Susan Rae Kroll

1. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Rae Kroll. Susan, affectionately known as "Big Sue," by her nurses, touched the lives of everyone around her during her brief time on Earth. Born on June 10, 2026 at 7 pounds 2 ounces and diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect, Truncus Arteriosus type 3, Susan faced unimaginable challenges from the very beginning of her life. After undergoing open heart surgery only two days after her birth, and again at 12 weeks old, she captured the hearts of her nurses and family with her strength and spirit.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Katherine and James Kroll; her maternal grandparents, Tim (Gale) Reams; her paternal grandfather, Tom Kroll; her great grandmother, Carol Reams; and her aunts and uncles, Sarah Reams, Zack Reams, Jake Sweiger, Kevin (Aubrey) Kroll, and Rebekah (Austin) Heisick. As well as her three cousins William and Emelinda Kroll and Wells Heisick. Susan has been welcomed into heaven by her maternal and paternal grandmothers, Susan Reams and Susan Kroll, and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family.

5. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Bethel Lutheran - Downtown Campus in Hudson, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 am with a service starting at 11:00 am.
