Suzanne Becher

Suzanne Becher, age 82, of Hudson, WI, formerly of Wausau, WI, passed away on November 2, 2013 at Red Cedar Canyon Assisted Living in Hudson.

Suzanne was born on August 18, 1931 to Howard Kenneth and Martha Catherine (Burke) Muff in Eaton, OH. She attended Stephens College in Missouri, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Miami University in Ohio. Suzanne was united in marriage to Archie E. Becher and their marriage would be blessed with two children: Archie Christopher and Anne Martha.

Suzanne enjoyed visiting with family, shopping, and playing tennis. She enjoyed traveling with her family, and took many trips around the United States and the Caribbean. She was also an active member at St. James Catholic Church in Wausau.

She is survived by her children, Archie C. Becher of Wausau, WI, and Anne (Steve) Butler of Roberts, WI; grandchildren: Matthew (Maryssa) Butler, Brianna Butler, Laura Butler, Archie J. Becher, Mary Butler, Wesley Butler, Nick Becher, Daniel Butler, Faith Butler, Michael Butler, and Grace Butler; sisters, Nancy (Dan) Ulrich of Burke, VA, and Rebecca (Bob) Lampl of Newark, OH; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie; and brother, James Muff.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, 211 E. Division St., River Falls, WI with a visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Wausau, WI.
