Teddi J. Bauer

Teddi Jill Bauer, age 61 of River Falls, passed away on June 23, 2021, after a courageous battle with Cancer.

Teddi was born March 8, 1960, to Merle Nielsen and Donna Pritzel. After graduating from River Falls High School in 1978, she worked in housekeeping and most of her working career was with YMCA Camp St. Croix. In 1982 Teddi married Randy Bauer, the light of her life for 38 years.

Her interests included doing activities with her family, refurbishing furniture, stained glass, working in the yard, walking, and visiting family in Texas and Wyoming. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to the four-legged furry friends. Teddi was the voice for the dogs that were kept in horrible situations like puppy mills. She volunteered and fostered for Gregory’s Gift of Hope for several years as well as supporting Underdog Rescue.

Teddi is survived by her husband, Randy Bauer; son and daughter Brandon and Ashley; mother, Donna Pritzel; 2 sisters and their spouses, Dawn and Kemp Terry, Echo and Steve Kraft; and brother, Matt and Angie Nielsen. Teddi was preceded in death by her father, Merle Nielsen; and grandparents, William & Marge Bradshaw.

No funeral service will be held, however, a Gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 4:00-7:00pm on Monday, June 28th at the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home, 225 S. 3rd Street in River Falls, WI. A private family graveside service will be held.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations to be given to American Cancer Society.
