Theodore W. ‘Ted’ Suennen

Theodore W. “Ted” Suennen, age 82 of New Richmond WI and formerly of Hudson WI, died on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond. Ted was born March 28, 1930 in Saint Paul MN to parents Theodore and Bertha (Boose) Suennen. Ted attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Hudson. Ted went on to make many friends through his work days at St. Croix Industries, and attending mass in his communities.

He enjoyed bowling, bingo, and playing card games, such as Crazy Eights. Ted was also a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan, who occasionally enjoyed a can of Old Milwaukee N/A. Ted had an eye, and a true affinity for old cars, especially the classic Buicks and Cadillacs.

Ted is survived by his sister, Marjorie Johnson of Bloomington MN; three generations of nephews and nieces; and numerous cousins; He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Lea Rawlings.

Funeral services for Ted will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, January 24th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 South 11th Street in Hudson. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery of Hudson. Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson WI. 715-386-3725
