Thomas Haroldson

Thomas J. Haroldson, age 61 of Hudson, WI, surrounded by family, passed away on November 19, 2017 at Pine Ridge Assisted Living. Tom was born on December 4, 1955 in Chippewa Falls, WI, to Thomas and Doris (Rucks) Haroldson. He attended Cornell Elementary and graduated from Cornell High School with the class of 1974. Tom furthered his education at District One Technical Institute and obtained his Associates Degree in Precision Inspection. He worked as a supervisor for Unisys in Roseville, MN and a plant manager at Bermo Inc. in Circle Pines, MN. Tom married the love of his life, Shari Manor on September 23, 1978 in Cornell, WI., and together they were blessed with six children.

Tom was a Chevy man and enjoyed the challenge of refinishing and maintaining cars. Tom was an excellent hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family hunting in one of God’s greatest creations, the woods of northern Wisconsin. He loved going up to Cornell, riding four-wheelers on the numerous trails, roasting marshmallows and enjoying fresh cheese curds with family while sharing timeless stories. Tom’s passion was to reach everyone around him to share the love of Jesus which is why he participated in several missionary trips in Mexico, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland to share the good news. Tom always had just the right words to encourage others in need and would listen to them intently.

The two most important things in Tom’s life were his family and sharing the message of Christ’s love and forgiveness with others. He treasured the time he spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a one-of-a-kind guy with a generous heart who will be deeply missed.

Tom is survived by his wife, Shari; children, Stacy (Mike) Warner, Beth (Matt) Gramoll, Gabe (Christie) Haroldson, Mary (Eric) Peterson, Abigail Haroldson, and Andrea (Sebastian) Pulfrey; grandchildren, Lola, Ella, Isaiah, Sophia, Sawyer, Gabriel Jr., Avary, Noah, Archer, Carter, and Samson; mother, Doris Haroldson; siblings, Timothy (Sue) Haroldson and Tammy Haroldson. and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles whom he loved deeply. Tom was proceeded in death by his father, Thomas K. Haroldson and his grandparents, Robert and Gertrude Rucks, Helmer Haroldson and Grannie Tosh

A Visitation for Tom will be from 4-7 PM on Friday, November 24 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. Funeral Service will be at 10AM on Saturday, November 25 at Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Road, Hudson, WI., with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Cornell Cemetery. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, WI.
