Tina Ann Stenroos

Oct 14, 1969 — Aug 10, 2026

Prescott, WI

Tina Ann Stenroos of Prescott, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2026.

Tina was born on October 14, 1969, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and grew up in Saxon, Wisconsin. She was known for her strong work ethic, caring heart, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.

Tina graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in Hurley, Wisconsin, before attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Manufacturing. She learned to sew at just nine years old and spent many years sewing one-of-a-kind projects and altering formal gowns, a talent she truly enjoyed sharing with others. A very special project included sewing all of the costumes for her daughter’s college dance team.

For 22 years, she worked for Prescott School District, as the Director of School Nutrition. She later worked in supply chain at Xcel Energy. She also enjoyed driving activity school bus, and worked concessions at local sports arenas, specifically Maui Wowi, where many came to look forward to her presence.

Tina enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved hobbies including golf, Mahjong, pool, and bowling. She also had a passion for traveling. During college she studied abroad in Scotland and fell in love with the scenery and landscape. She lived there for a year and made many trips back to visit the lifelong friends she made and show her daughter all her favorite places. Above all else, she treasured being a mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Brauer. She is survived by her children, Montgomery (Morgen) Stenroos, Carson (Morgan) Stenroos, and Shayanne Stenroos; her mother, Sue (Nye) Brauer; her grandchildren, Wren, Breanne, and another grandbaby expected in February. She is also survived by her siblings, Terry (Kevin) Zinda, and Todd (Kathy) Brauer, along with many cherished Stenroos family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Tina’s kindness, warmth, and hardworking spirit will be remembered always by those who knew and loved her. Her legacy will live on through her beautiful photography skills and endless photo albums, her timeless sewing projects, and her love for her children and family.
