Tony Ward

Tony William Ward, passed away at home in Hudson on August 28, 2026, at the age of 55. Tony was born on February 11, 1971, in St Paul, MN to parents George and Geraldine (Bohart) Ward. 

Tony dedicated many years of his life to serving as a manager at a foundry before taking on the role of supervisor at a metal waste treatment plant. 

Outside of work, Tony had a deep love for music. He could often be found singing and dancing in his garage. He enjoyed sharing laughter through comedies, and his favorite pastimes included bowling and fishing, activities that reflected both his competitive nature and his love for the outdoors. Known for his blunt humor, he had a way of bringing light to every situation. Known for his big heart, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in times of need, whether it was friends, family, or strangers. 

Tony is survived by his son Alex (Jillian) Ward and stepchildren Ashley Berry and Jack Astrup; grandchildren Willow, AJ, and Braydn; Fiancé Jodi Kolstad; father George Ward; siblings Todd (Chris) Ward and Angie Erikson. 

He is preceded in death by his wife Sonya, mother Geraldine and brother Tommy. 

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th at 1627 Possum Way, New Richmond, WI 54017 from 12-4PM.
