Vickie Anderson

Vickie Lynn Anderson, age 63 of Woodville, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at her home. Vickie was born on March 5, 1957 to Benjamin and Joyce (Matlock) Corkron in Munich, Germany, where her father was stationed with the U.S. Army. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia and graduated from Kendrick High School. Vickie was blessed with two children, Michole and Taylor. She worked as a caregiver for many years, before working in manufacturing for McMillan Electric Co., and most recently Nolato Contour. Vickie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and was affectionately known as the “Walleye Slayer” on fishing trips to Lake of the Woods. Vickie was also fond of reading, playing cribbage, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

Vickie will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Michole Anderson; son, Taylor Anderson; significant other, Paul Hayne; grandchildren, Keira Platson, Bennett Semborski, and Vaeda Semborski; siblings, Theresia Culberson, Cindy Manning, Fred (Jacquieline) Corkron, Fonda Milam, and Gregory (Jenifer) Corkron; soul sister, Jacqui (Urgo) Bishop; ex-husband, Mike Anderson; many nieces and nephews, extended family and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Joyce (Walter) Ibbotson; father, Benjamin Corkron; brother-in-law, Anthony Culberson; and nephew, Ryan Corkron.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Vickie’s life will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28th, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 1010 Newton St., Baldwin, WI. Social distancing and the wearing of masks are encouraged.
