Wayne Chilson

Wayne Herman Chilson, age 73 of Ellsworth, WI, passed away January 7, 2021 at his home.  Wayne was born August 7, 1947 in Mantorville, MN to Virgil and Lorraine (Jackson) Chilson.  On June 18, 1969, he was united in marriage to Charlotte Kay Gillespie.  Their marriage was blessed with three sons, Dean, Gene and Brian, along with 52 years of memories.  Wayne worked as a welder throughout his life, retiring from North Star Steel in 1977.  Wayne and Charlotte enjoyed traveling and fishing trips, visiting most of the United States in their motorhome, van and trike.

Wayne will remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Charlotte; sons, Dean F. (Debora) Chilson, Gene (Rachel) Chilson, and Brian Chilson; grandchildren, Dean D. and Dani; great-grandchildren, Nolan and Elle; siblings, Virgil Lee (Marilyn) Chilson, Karen (Bruce) Burgdorf, Karla Olson and Jason Chilson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lorraine Chilson; brothers, Sam, Jim and Edd Chilson.

Private graveside services will take place at Trimbelle Cemetery.
