Wayne John Wood

Wayne John Wood, age 61, of Bay City, WI died July 6, 2016 at the Kinnic Health & Rehabilitation Center in River Falls, WI. He was born on May 18, 1955 in Red Wing, MN to Carl and Edna (Johnson) Wood.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl.

Wayne is survived by his mother, Edna Wood of Bay City, WI; siblings, Rebecca Ridgeway (Mike) of Minneapolis, MN, Craig Wood of Hager City, WI, Timothy Wood (Jennifer) of San Antonio, TX, Teresa Wood of St. Paul, MN, Thomas Wood of Bloomington, MN, Steven Wood (Kelly) of Bay City, WI; beloved friend, Carole Senn; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Wayne was an avid horseman, roper, farrier, fisherman and reader. He worked many years as a carpenter with Oakvale Builders.

Burial will be at Bay City Cemetery.

A memorial service for Wayne will be held, 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, WI with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred. Bring memories to share.
