William “Bill” Anderl

William “Bill” Anderl, age 62, of Hudson, passed away suddenly on August 18, 2011 at his home. He was born on August 5, 1949, the son of Ralph and Lucille (Ritzenger) Anderl in Chippewa Falls, WI. He would graduate from Chippewa Falls High School and go on to serve in the US Army during Vietnam. Bill worked for the main Veteran’s Administration office in St. Paul for 25 years, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Bill is survived by his life partner, Sharon; sisters, Cheryl (Tom) Cline, Jan (Warren) Sisti, and Patt (Terry) Anderson; brother, Tom (Dianne) Anderl; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Roger Anderl.

A funeral service will be held for Bill at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 23 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Visitations one hour prior to the service and Monday, August 22 from 4 until 7:00 PM. He will be privately interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the VA Medical Center.
