William "Bill" Joseph Capeder

William “Bill" Capeder age 93, of North Hudson, passed away October 15, 2026. Retired Machine Trades teacher at St. Paul TVI. Survived by his loving wife Janice; son Vincent (Sandy); daughters Jenine (Partner Paula) and Lisa (Neil) Benson; stepdaughter Gwendolyn Marty (Doug Erlandson); grandchildren Rachel, Christopher, Andrea, Olivia and Truman; and four great-grandchildren. Bill and Janice built their dream home together in the woods, where they shared 47 years enjoying life along the St. Croix River. They loved their evening golf cart rides and feeding the deer. Bill had a unique passion for cooking and enjoyed yardwork and his beloved cat, Buddy. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 22, with visitation from 10–11 a.m. at O’Connell Funeral Home, Hudson. Memorials preferred.
