William Theodore Dahlin, age 87, of Hudson, Wisconsin, passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on August 3, 1938, in Hudson, WI, Bill was a man of quiet strength, steady presence, and deep devotion to those he loved. He lived his life showing up—for his family, for the moments that mattered, and for the people who counted on him most.
Bill shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jane. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and lasting memories. He was a proud father to Jim Dahlin and Lisa Studiner, and a cherished father-in-law to Charlie Studiner. His legacy continues through his granddaughters, Victoria (Tori) Newton (31) and Makenna (Kenna) Studiner (21), and his great-granddaughter, Jane Weber (9), all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
He had a love for sports of all kinds and a deep appreciation for country music. When the weather was nice, you could often find him outside in the yard—riding his tractor or sitting by a bonfire, one of his favorite places to relax and simply enjoy the moment.
Bill loved camping, traveling, and taking cruises with Jane and their many friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including a bowl of popcorn—always eaten with a big spoon.
Though he was a quieter man, his love spoke loudly. His family always knew how deeply he cared and how proud he was of each of them. His presence was constant, comforting, and unwavering.
Bill is welcomed into Heaven by family and friends who have gone before him. We find peace in imagining him enjoying scooter rides, games of cribbage, sitting by the bonfire, exploring, and watching over all of us. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
