William Kittleson

d. February 19, 2022

William Wayne Kittleson, age 73, of River Falls, WI passed away peacefully Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at his residence with his daughters seeing him off. William was born on August 31, 1948 in Spring Valley, Wisconsin, the son of Wayne and Pearl (Wenum) Kittleson. He was raised in Spring Valley where he graduated from high school.

He would be married to the former Diane Huebel. To this union daughters Colleen and Aimee were born. This union would later dissolve. He would later marry Doris Field. To this marriage, daughters Nikki, Carrie, and Angie were blessed. William would later start up his own business, Kittle’s Mobile Repair Company, where he would help move, repair, and fix up mobile homes. He later worked for KolPak in River Falls for several years. Sadly, he injured his back with a work-related accident and was forced to retire.

William’s greatest passion was jumping on his Harley Davidson and going for a drive. Unfortunately, his motorcycle was a complete loss as it was swept away in Hurricane Katrina when he was down south. He enjoyed going to the local classic car shows, grilling with his family, and cheering the Green and Gold to a victory. In earlier years, many great memories were made camping and fishing on the Red Cedar River with his kids.

He is survived by his daughters, Colleen (Bob) Kittleson, Aimee O’Donnell, Nikki (Brandon) Backhaus of River Falls, Carrie Kittleson of River Falls, and Angie Kittleson of River Falls; grandchildren, Grace, Mariah, Madison, Evelyn, Kyleigh, David, Gabi, John, Emma, Jo and Cooper; mother, Pearl Kittleson of River Falls; siblings, Bonnie (Rich) Richardson of Menomonie, Kathy Starr of River Falls, and Mike (Patty) Kittleson of Spring Valley; many nieces and nephews, other family, and friends. His father, Wayne precedes him in death.

Mass of Christian Burial for William Kittleson will be 2PM, Thursday, February 24th at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in River Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at church.  Memorials are preferred to the family. Funeral and cremation services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of River Falls.
