William J Wolowicz

William J. "Bill" Wolowicz of River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on August 6, 2026.

Bill was born on February 26, 1947, in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, to Anthony and Mary Wolowicz. He grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Pennridge High School before continuing his education for two years in college. Bill later built his career as a machinist; a profession well suited to his interest in machinery and working with his hands.

Music was an important part of Bill's life. He enjoyed playing keyboard and was a big band musician, finding great enjoyment in performing and sharing music with others. Bill also had an interest in videography and enjoyed capturing moments through video. He had an appreciation for the West Coast and enjoyed the experiences and scenery it had to offer.

Bill was a man of many interests, particularly music, machinery, and the technical work that allowed him to create and stay busy.

Bill is survived by his siblings, Richard Wolowicz, Anthony (Martha) Wolowicz, Carolyn (Lee) Ford, and Patricia Ann (Barry) Elliott; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Wolowicz.

A service honoring Bill's life will be held at 11am on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Servants of the Shepherd Church in River Falls, with Pastor Frank Lukasiewicz officiating. Following the service, Bill will be laid to rest at St. Martin's Cherma Cemetery in River Falls.
